Shipping:

At L&H_Lasercrafts, we take pride in our efficient and reliable shipping methods. We offer standard shipping for free on all orders over £100. For orders below £100, we charge a nominal shipping fee to help cover our costs. We use a range of packaging materials to help ensure that your order arrives safely and securely. You can expect your order to arrive within 2-5 business days from being dispatched and expedited shipping is also available at an additional cost if your order is required more quickly. Please contact us for more information on expedited shipping options.

Turnaround timescales:

The majority of items are made to order so exact turnaround times are dependant on order volumes and stock however as a guide, I aim to post generic/unpersonalised items within 1-5 working days from the date payment is received and personalised items within 5-15 working days. Custom designs may occasionally take longer depending on the complexity of the design and time of the year, although I will always endeavour to post sooner wherever possible. 

Rarely, turnaround times may be slightly longer (up to 10 working days for generic items and 20 for personalised/custom items) during peak times* and there can sometimes also be additional postal delays due to the volume of post during these times too so please allow for this when ordering wherever possible however, if you do need an item more urgently, please contact me prior to ordering as I'll always try and accommodate requests to prioritise orders if I can and offer faster postal options too if required.

Domestic postage (within the UK)

Orders over £20 will be sent signed for / tracked, orders under generally are sent normal post if the combined weight is under 500g. Items up to 60cm / 5Kg are normally sent via Royal Mail second class or Yodel Direct standard delivery: both are classed as 2-5 working day services though usually only take 2-3 days except in peak times* unless there are any delays on route. Larger/heavier items are normally sent using Parcelforce, UPS or DPD depending on the size/weight and are usually delivered in 1-3 days.

 

Collection in person is also welcome from Alexandra Road in Ashby by appointment, please get in touch to confirm a convenient day/time.

 

International shipping:

Free/standard shipping costs apply to mainland UK** only however we are happy to ship items almost anywhere in the world although there are some items that cannot be sent to certain countries eg. some wooden items to Australia, and shipping costs will vary depending on the size and weight, please get in touch if you would like to know more / require a postage cost. 

Items sent outside the UK may also be subject to import / customs charges, these may vary from country to country and it is the buyers responsibility to pay these. Refunds will not be given for personalised items that are returned due to buyers refusing to pay customs charges/collect orders.

 

Delivery guarantee:

Please note that unfortunately, unless sent on a guaranteed service, I cannot guarantee exact delivery days or times. and, once an item has been posted, I have no control over possible delays caused by seasonal postal volume increases, adverse weather, strikes or any other unforeseen circumstances so if you are ordering for a special occasion please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive or, if you need an item urgently, please get in touch prior to ordering as I can usually offer a priority turnaround and post on a quicker or guaranteed next day delivery service for an additional fee.

 

Tracking:

Small letter sized items are generally sent via Royal Mail which doesn't offer a tracking service however larger items sent via courier will be tracked and the tracking number will be added to your order completion notification so you can check for updates if wanted. Where the courier offers a notification service for updates or a delivery day / timeslot and an email address has been added at checkout this will be added to the parcel booking so that you receive these updates unless you have requested otherwise.

 

*peak times are normally May - June, September and November - December. Please also note that working days doesn't include bank holidays and I am usually closed from 5pm Christmas Eve until the 2nd January to spend time with family so this can also delay my response / dispatch time.

** occasionally surcharges may be applicable eg to areas of the Scottish Highlands  and Islands as some couriers do not deliver or charge extra to deliver to these locations especially for larger or heavier items so I may need to pass at least some of this additional cost on. If this is the case I will contact you to let you know and discuss options please get in touch prior to ordering to confirm if you would prefer.
